The uniform distribution calculator returns probabilities and quantiles for a value equally likely anywhere between a minimum and a maximum.
The continuous uniform assigns equal density across an interval. It is the reference distribution for p-values under a true null hypothesis, and the starting point for generating every other distribution by inverse transform.
Because the density is flat, probabilities are simple proportions of the interval — which makes it a useful check that a calculator, or an intuition, is behaving.
Distribution parameters, plus a value x, a tail probability p, or both.
For x: the density or exact probability and each tail. For p: the lower, upper and two-tailed critical values.
