A polar plot draws points on angle and radius axes, for circular data such as compass bearings, hour of day or season of year.
Circular data has wrap-around: 0° and 360° are the same direction. Plotting on polar axes makes this natural — points near the 0/360 boundary are visually adjacent rather than at opposite ends of a linear axis.
Angle column (degrees or radians) + radius column.
Polar scatter.
Visual clusters at specific angles ⇒ preferred direction; circular uniformity ⇒ no directional preference. For formal testing, use Rayleigh's z test (not implemented here).
