statzel — Statistical tables The four tables a statistics course hands out, computed from the same functions the app's tests use rather than transcribed — so there are no typographical errors, and no interpolating between rows.
Z-table (standard normal)
A z-table gives the area under the standard normal curve to the left of a given z-score — P(Z ≤ z) for z from −3.49 to 3.49.
T-table (Student’s t critical values)
A t-table gives the critical value of Student's t for a given number of degrees of freedom and upper-tail area — the multiplier behind every confidence interval on a mean.
Chi-square table (critical values)
A chi-square table gives the critical value of χ² for a given number of degrees of freedom and upper-tail area — the cutoff a goodness-of-fit or independence test is compared against.
F-table (critical values, α = 0.05)
An F-table gives the critical value of F for a pair of numerator and denominator degrees of freedom at the 5% level — the cutoff an ANOVA F statistic is compared against.
